I found out trough some digging (excluding the usual culprit eg non-sustainably sourced palm oil) that our coffee consumption and our love for all things chocolate was contributing to deforestation too. April 30 at 3:10 AMCost & time are big factors. COVID also means that journeys we would have done by train… we would now prefer to use our car. Choosing more local destinations would help us be more climate friendly in the current situation.
