I can't believe it's already May 1st! But, I am so thankful that I got to be part of this amazing challenge. I will continue to apply what I've learned. Thank you Team DRAWDOWN

It felt really good planting some trees in my backyard! Theyre still just saplings, but nature really helps balance my mental and spiritual health. I love sitting out there, just meditating, relaxing, and enjoying my time. Knowing that I’ve helped new things grow just feels good.

A locality that fundamentally practices recycling, reuse, and conservation.

Land and energy waste motivates me to change my behavior. These are just little things that can be changed to make a big impact. I can now fertilize my garden with things that would’ve been thrown away or disregarded anyways, so it makes the best of both worlds!

Most of the time, my transportation is based on money and convenience. I have my own car and a job, so it's easy to pay for those services, and it's convenient for me to use since I own it. I would love to have an electric car, but it's typically more expensive, and as a college student as well, I can only afford to work part-time. If I had...

The nearest climate-friendly supermarket to my house is about a 20-minute drive away. It would be great to show support for this particular supermarket and hope that the others surrounding the area would catch on as well! It would be great for all of them to make more environmentally friendly changes in hopes for a better future

My diet is impacting deforestation in a lot of ways, yet not as much as I thought it would be. I drink a lot of coffee and consume a lot of chocolate and eggs, but I don't really eat meat or dairy all that often. A big contributor to deforestation is soy and coffee, which a majority of the soy is fed to animals, but many working adults cannot...

It feels good knowing that the local farmers are using safe ways to farm and ensure the crops are properly taken care of. I like knowing that the people in my area are doing the best they can to support the local environment. I like supporting my local community farmers knowing how close they are grown and how they are ethically sourced! They...

What inspires me most to act on sustainable energy is the fact that we only have one mother earth and we need to treat her the best way we can because there is only one mother earth. We need to try and keep the doomsday clock ticking because soon there will be no time to turn back before the damage is unstoppable and not reversible. Sustainable...
