April 30 at 7:25 PMI find it difficult to reduce the plastic of food packaging. I always try to buy food that is not packaged but I find a lot of organic produce comes packaged in plastic.

April 30 at 7:14 PMDuring this challenge I have tried to eat more vegetarian meals. This week I have had vegetarian meals for 5 consecutive days. It has already been a few years that I have stopped eating red meat and pork almost completely.

April 30 at 7:10 PMI realized that prior to this challenge I did not participate in mindful eating very much. This past month I have made an effort to practice mindfulness during my meals. One of the benefits I found that there was more conversation during our meals.

April 30 at 7:03 PMThe main reason I am choosing to purchase an electric car as my next vehicle is definitely because they are more environmentally friendly. However I also like the technology of electric cars. Other benefits are that they are low maintenance and there isn’t the cost of fuel.

April 30 at 3:50 PMThanks all for the inspiration to work through this challenge and for setting it up. What a great learning experience. So many valuable insights from the feeds as well. Hoping to keep the challenge going beyond Earth Month.

April 30 at 11:44 AMYAY! We have reached the final day of the Earth Month EcoChallenge! I just wanted to say how inspired I was by all the actions we took as a team and all the support, comments, and reflections that came through on the Team Feed. I have learned so much from the Challenge and my team mates. Thank you for all your hard work making positive change!

April 30 at 11:28 AMWhat concerns me most is that people, companies, politicians won't act in time to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. That being said, I'm super grateful for challenges like this where I not only learn new habits that are better for the planet but also learn about all the innovative groups out there trying to make positive change.

April 30 at 11:23 AMBig thank you to Val for sharing the list she found of products that contain palm oil. It is quite shameful that companies have found ways to use palm oil using other names :( I will use the list to continue to eliminate these products from our household.

April 30 at 8:50 AMLooking into seafood consumption was my last goal, which I decided to add after watching Seaspiracy. I spent a couple of hours digging deeper into the possibility to source truly sustainable seafood and wrote a small summary on my blog: https://needleandnotion.wordpress.com/2021/04/29/%f0%9f%93%ba-movie-talk-seaspiracy/ As for fish-eating...
