This is such an amazing way to challenge ourselves, and to learn about other ideas we never thought of. I am so grateful to have been a part of this team!

I want to thank my fellow WSP Team on participating in EcoChallenge. And I would like to thank Ecochallenege.org for hosting such an event! In the last 30 days, I have improved my behavior due to the challenge and definitely made me more aware of other elements that I was not aware of as it relates to he Environment. The 30 days has changed...

The pandemic has forced us to all think about alternative means for travel, and moving forward I plan to be more judicious about travel of all kinds. Travel in general is important, and sometimes in person meetings are critical, but even if we all are able to make a dent in the number of flights we normally would have taken each year, the...

The UC Berkeley Cool Climate tool is eye-opening - I was immediately taken aback by how much airplane travel contributes to overall C footprint. Because of that, I am now looking at the purchase of C offsets, and of course when possible utilizing alternative means of travel.

Yes - from the research I've done as a result of the Ecochallenge it appears to be a great alternative to traditional fertilizer, and I'm looking forward to trying it in my gardens.

Education is an important component. Geothermal is not the best solution everywhere, and it can be expensive in the early stage of development. But the potential is significant and geothermal should be explored and considered as a viable clean energy technology. This is another area in which we are supporting clients and helping to find...

To me the most exciting aspect of clean energy solutions is the diversity of technologies applicable in different scenarios, geographies, etc. There is no "one size fits all" solution, but instead a combination of solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, tidal, etc. - along with battery storage - could viably be deployed for effective use...

The EcoChallenge has resulted in a powerful combination for action moving forward: witnessing the enthusiastic participation of our WSP colleagues, establishing good habits for sustainable activities, and learning more about technologies and activities that contribute to positive impacts on climate change and sustainability .

I just bought a carbon offset for a round trip journey between Atlanta, GA and Santiago, CHI; and it cost me less than 10% of the airfare price; it's basically just a tax to offset the carbon emissions of your entire journey; they should just mandate these purchases for every single flight; why am I just learning about this now?
