Although for some products recycling is rather simple (e.g., paper, cardboard, glass, and types 1 or 2 plastics), most items still have a mixture of components and of rather small size to recycle.  Reduction and reuse still are the most direct ways to reduce environmental polution.

Buildings Install A Toilet Tank Bank
How can your region/household prepare for changing water situations in order to become more resilient?

Taking steps like the "toilet tank bank" (for which I recycled a plastic water bottle full of water), and switching to other "low-flow" options are a way for every one of us to take water conservation steps. I am also converting my flower beds to more hearty regionally native plants that do not require extra watering, and doing the same with my lawn, allowing clover, plaintain, and creeping charlie to grow where it wants as they stay thick and green even when rain is scarce - much more so than grass which gets dry and brown throughout the summer.

How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

Planting and taking care of trees in the best investment in our nature, as we are subjects of our natural worlds. Unless we take care of our environment, we cant expect ours and future generations to thrive. Need to keep this going and teach our kids about man made issues that have been proven by scientific research so that they engage and trust in research backed recommendations, rather than believing in dogma and corporate interests blindly.

Health and Education Research Barriers to Participation and Representation
What are some of the barriers that exist to women's equal participation and/or representation in your community?

I feel that a lot of the barriers that restricted women's equal participation in the 20th century have been take care of, in the recent few decades however equal pay for genders remains to be settled even in western countries. In developing and underdeveloped countries, more emphasis needs to be paid on women's education.
