    I found this to be really interesting! I've always wondered what "use by," "sell by," and "best by" dates mean. From now on, I'll try to make my best judgement of whether food has gone bad based on taste and smell, rather than just the sell by dates on the package. Hopefully this will help reduce my food waste!

    I visited Bloom Bake Shop in Madison, WI, which is one of my favorite women-owned local businesses! Bloom is also very sustainable - they compost, source their food from local/organic producers, and provide amazing Vegan and Gluten Free options for customers.     I do think Tony's prediction is a bit optimistic, we don't see that quick of turnaround on things like this, plus it is highly likely that big government will get in the way. If we can use renewable energy to generate energy I think it will go a long way in solving our climate change problem.

    I do my best to support women-owned businesses, but i wanted to research more that I could do. I found a platform called Dough, which is like Amazon but all women owned businesses! There is almost anything you can think of on there.

    I was interested to see how much of an impact a reduced meat diet had on my carbon footprint. I've been trying to eat less animal products without giving them up entirely, and that has had a really good impact on my carbon footprint. However, having a car greatly increases my impact, event though it's a hybrid and has pretty good gas mileage....
