I have not heard of biomass, but the learning experience was fascinating. I learned how Biomass can be used in a variety of ways, such as heating and electricity. It reduce Greenhouse gas emissions at a great rate and even produces Carbon Dioxide just like fossil fuels. Not only that since it is a renewable resource it can replace oils in its...

I like solar I think its the coolest and it seems like the one that has the most likely hood of having a chance to actually be truly sustainable

We need to just try to eliminate over 80 or 90% of fossil fuels and  need to add more and more sustainable sources of energy then the world will be alot better off.

It gives me inspiration to do my part and preserve nature. I feel overwhelmed because I know that the uber-rich are the ones who could make a significantly bigger change, but most likely won’t. I feel hopeful because there are many organizations devoting their life to protecting forests and the environment.

I have the average diet that most teenagers have.  To decrease my negative impact I could try to eat less meat, or even become vegetarian (I used to be so this wouldn’t be too hard).  To increase my positive impact I could keep an eye out for labels that mean a product was sustainably grown/made, and purchase that product as opposed to another...

Forests hold in and absorb carbon, which helps with the air quality around the world.  My diet is pretty average, but I do tend to eat less dairy than the average person. I could definitely make some changes and I would be willing to be vegetarian if it helps the environment in any way.

I want to make a better effort to avoid supporting businesses that take part in the destruction and deforestation How much power the people who are responsible for the destruction have compared to the power I have There are people who hold some power that are making an effort to help

How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact? (2-4 sentence response)  My diest is definitely not helping with saving forests, i can try and eat less meat, switch to a plant baised milk and buy organic items.
