I took Good Friday off of work to spend the day cleaning up my yard & planted 2 small trees as well as a dozen other plants. It was SO nice to spend the day outside but it has been even nicer to admire how much the plants have already grown!

Transportation Improve a Bus Stop

How can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?

I went to the bus stop outside of my neighborhood & picked up trash that had been left there. I feel like the bus stop being a dirty, gross place makes people less inclined to use it. If we make a greater effort to keep these areas clean (& to pick up after ourselves!), it will encourage people to use these methods of transportation.
