BACK TO TEAM PAGE

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I have already been working on eliminating palm oil and I have cut way back on meat.  I love chocolate, but fortunately don't eat a huge amount of it.  My 1 cup of coffee in the morning seems to be my biggest downfall.  I will now be on the lookout for "shade produced" coffee.

I pray we can seriously halt the deforestation that is going on around the world.

I have noticed: bees humming in a tree, so many different kinds of plants, animals, flowers and their wonderful smells and many of God's miracles. We could use more sidewalks in our area.

I believe poverty is the greatest a barrier to equality; poverty is deeply connected to lack of education and teen pregnancies.  Fortunately we have a number of strong women in our community and a number of agencies that try to remedy the situations.
Knowing what a challenge it is in my community, I cannot fathom what it must like for those in other countries.
