    As with anything, the practice of incorporating knowledge and habits into our daily routine is both enriching and can make a difference.  A shout out to our intrepid coach Laurie Husted whose guidance and encouragement is changing the world.

    Plant-Rich diets is one of the drawdown solutions in this sector. This eco-challenge has pushed me to eat less meat and be less wasteful, and it's amazing how much healthier it is for us as will as reducing greenhouse emissions.

    I think the biggest issue I can think of is waste, plastic, and contaminants. All of this trash ends up in our rivers and lakes. Using less plastic is a good place to start.

    COVID-19 has helped me go further by choosing to not use paper at all. Virtually, I can keep most documents on my computer.

    I find it really easy to use the entire vegetable when making smoothies. It blends up so nicely, as long as it is edible, you might as well throw it in! You can also use leftovers for compost in the garden. :)

    I definitely didn't know about the many different kinds of biomass residues. I had only heard about combustion, but not Gasification, Fast pyrolysis, Carbonisation & torrefaction, and Anaerobic digestion
