This was a really great challenge and I appreciated the email reminders throughout. Sometimes I was doing the actions and not logging in and sometimes I was forgetting little things I can do and this pushed me to look into more than I already do. Will work on keeping up the habits and thinking more about my actions and purchases.

Found some great new women-owned businesses with the links includes and also looked into local businesses to support more actively women-owned businesses. I was excited to see many restaurants I love and visit often included! Just another motivator for me to get more Chinese and Indian food takeout :)

I actually thought this was really cool. Glad I partook in this :) I wish Drawdown would do this regularly and not just for the month of April! Would be really cool to regularly have a dashboard and reminders and action items for educating myself and taking more action for making the world a little better!

I found some bamboo toilet paper before from Reel that i didn't really like... but I'm trying out Who Gives a Crap and I'll see if I end up liking that any better.

I've gotten better about using a smaller plate, but I need to do a better job about making sure I get the right portions when I'm eating out. Its difficult to avoid leftovers, and I am not always great about eating those leftovers.

This was really interesting to learn about. I knew there was a huge need for more parks and outdoor recreation for lots of neighborhoods but how far the effects of missing nature is astonishing. Will keep looking into this and donate to some organizations like American Forests who work on solutions.

Living in an older, suburban neighborhood, and having injured my foot recently, I'm noticing even more how much work needs to be done for accessibility and comfort. A lot of streets don't have sidewalks which means you're weaving around parked cars or walking in the middle of the street. Also, a lot of the sidewalks that do exist are warped...

Interesting topic and see the benefits especially combining heating/cooling. Unfortunately, renting an older house comes with challenges such as no HVAC systems so will have to work on energy assessments and smaller changes in the meantime.

Found this cool site to show women owned restaurants near me! https://restauranther.com/ Unfortunatately... there weren't any 😭

I'm going to keep the temperatures up as much as is reasonable in the summer, and not keep windows or doors open when I'm sitting outside on the porch. I'm also going to try to dry less things and get back into a habit of batch cooking and laundry on one day a week so I'm batching all that energy together.
