Educating others on geothermal energy would be the first big step. Once people know that it can cut their energy bill in half and it is sustainable renewable energy, I think many people would be open to trying it out.

My Earth month eco-challenge has been fun. It's been great to learn more about how I can be more sustainable personally and also learning how my community can be more sustainable as well as how I can be a part of that!

Learning about how humans alter our environment in ways that are not sustainable is concerning. This makes me feel worried about our future, yet hopeful that people are being educated about this issue. It feels overwhelming that unsustainable practices can alter our future quality of life.

In the past, I have supported the businesses of my friends who are women, such as at Aroma Cafe in Auburn. My friend owns a small coffee shop and i bought a few yummy things to try and a shirt. I can better support my community by supporting women through doing research behind what companies I am buying from and making sure I am supporting a company that has good values and supports women.
