Leslie's actions
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
Keep Track of Wasted Food
Reduced Food Waste
I will keep a daily log of food I throw away during Earth Month Ecochallenge, either because it went bad before I ate it, I put too much on my plate, or it was scraps from food preparation.
Land Sinks
Explore My Area
Sometimes protecting nature requires feeling connected to nature. I will invest 45 minutes in exploring and appreciating a natural area in my region, whether a forest, wetland, coastal area, or somewhere else.

Composting
Composting, Reduced Food Waste
I will start a compost bin where I live.

Leslie Smith 4/25/2021 4:34 PMTo reduce my food waste, I made pizzas today with a bunch of leftovers. One had barbecued ribs I’ve had in my freezer,Another, half rib, half veggie, using chipotles in adobo sauce I had left over from a previous recipe. This was a mix of roasted vegetables from earlier in the week.
The cheeses were three or four different ones I had bits of pieces of in my fridge. All delicious! -
