To reduce my food waste, I made pizzas today with a bunch of leftovers. One had barbecued ribs I’ve had in my freezer,
Another, half rib, half veggie, using chipotles in adobo sauce I had left over from a previous recipe.
This was a mix  of roasted vegetables from earlier in the week.

The cheeses were three or four different ones I had bits of pieces of in my fridge. All delicious!

I took a long walk around a local park (Truman Park in Hazelwood ) this morning that I didn’t even know existed.  Nice quiet place, pretty lake, and a paved trail, as it is part of the Missouri River Greenway.

I participated in the Trash Bash for The Great Rivers Greenway in Hazelwood this morning. Picked up half a bag of trash around a lake, got a good hours walk in and and saw some pretty flowers.

Today I hiked at the Castor River conservation area and the Amidon
Memorial conservation area in southeastern Missouri. It is a really beautiful part of the state!
