REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhile dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?
Julie Milinovich 4/28/2021 5:30 AMThere are health benefits to starting with smaller portions. This also allows the opportunity to eat more mindfully. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Accelerating SolutionsGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. What have you done in the past to support women-owned businesses? How can you better support communities by supporting women?
Julie Milinovich 4/28/2021 5:29 AMThere are several smaller women owned businesses in my area. I particularly like to buy the products, share them on social media and tag the business page. I think people are more likely to try something that someone they know has used and liked. The local cake lady is not a hardship to support:) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksHow is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?
Julie Milinovich 4/28/2021 5:27 AMI think the exercise, knowledge of the environmental impacts and being able to enjoy nature while getting a little dirty is good for the soul. -
