REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksHow difficult or easy was it to change your diet?
Alexandra Bjergo 4/15/2021 3:54 AMIt was difficult at first. I started with being vegetarian before going full vegan. I have been vegan for a while now. It was mostly about breaking all my old habits. I feel healthier and happier now with my diet :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksAre bamboo alternatives readily available in your community? If not, what are other sustainable alternatives?
Alexandra Bjergo 4/15/2021 3:41 AMThere are so many bamboo alternatives I have been finding out. I also did not realize that the bamboo plant itself releases 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than others trees. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricityHow does advocating for rooftop solar connect to your values? How might you be able to get others involved in advocating for the shift to clean energy?
Alexandra Bjergo 4/15/2021 1:02 AMI personally would love this to happen at my house. I have some solar powered lights and cat toys that I love. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Alexandra Bjergo 4/15/2021 12:08 AMYes, I feel like I have been wasting food by going off of the best by dates and not what the actual product looks like. I will be sure to second guess if the product is actually spoiled next time.
