April 30 at 2:48 PMThis was a really great challenge and I appreciated the email reminders throughout. Sometimes I was doing the actions and not logging in and sometimes I was forgetting little things I can do and this pushed me to look into more than I already do. Will work on keeping up the habits and thinking more about my actions and purchases.

April 30 at 2:46 PMFound some great new women-owned businesses with the links includes and also looked into local businesses to support more actively women-owned businesses. I was excited to see many restaurants I love and visit often included! Just another motivator for me to get more Chinese and Indian food takeout :)

April 30 at 8:01 AMI actually thought this was really cool. Glad I partook in this :) I wish Drawdown would do this regularly and not just for the month of April! Would be really cool to regularly have a dashboard and reminders and action items for educating myself and taking more action for making the world a little better!

April 29 at 11:22 AMI found some bamboo toilet paper before from Reel that i didn't really like... but I'm trying out Who Gives a Crap and I'll see if I end up liking that any better.

April 29 at 11:14 AMI've gotten better about using a smaller plate, but I need to do a better job about making sure I get the right portions when I'm eating out. Its difficult to avoid leftovers, and I am not always great about eating those leftovers.

April 28 at 12:07 PMThis was really interesting to learn about. I knew there was a huge need for more parks and outdoor recreation for lots of neighborhoods but how far the effects of missing nature is astonishing. Will keep looking into this and donate to some organizations like American Forests who work on solutions.

April 28 at 10:00 AMLiving in an older, suburban neighborhood, and having injured my foot recently, I'm noticing even more how much work needs to be done for accessibility and comfort. A lot of streets don't have sidewalks which means you're weaving around parked cars or walking in the middle of the street. Also, a lot of the sidewalks that do exist are warped...

April 28 at 9:52 AMInteresting topic and see the benefits especially combining heating/cooling. Unfortunately, renting an older house comes with challenges such as no HVAC systems so will have to work on energy assessments and smaller changes in the meantime.

April 28 at 8:31 AMFound this cool site to show women owned restaurants near me! https://restauranther.com/ Unfortunatately... there weren't any 😭

April 24 at 3:02 PMI'm going to keep the temperatures up as much as is reasonable in the summer, and not keep windows or doors open when I'm sitting outside on the porch. I'm also going to try to dry less things and get back into a habit of batch cooking and laundry on one day a week so I'm batching all that energy together.
