Heidi Zhang 4/30/2021 6:40 PMlast day good job everyone!!! -
Heidi Zhang 4/29/2021 6:29 PMquestion for everyone, what was your goal for this month and did you accomplish it? -
Heidi Zhang 4/28/2021 7:19 PMI've noticed a lot of solar panels around some neighborhoods. Some houses, street lamps and like those rentable bike things have some solar panels which is good. -
Heidi Zhang 4/27/2021 12:39 PMI can't believe that the month is already over already. Good work everyone!-
Laura Cinat 4/28/2021 7:04 PMIt did really fly by, didn't it? I'll definitely keep up with of the habits

Heidi Zhang 4/26/2021 7:51 PMi think i killed my mango too somehow so now i have 0 trees left. Hopefully I'll be able to replace it and get it to survive for longer-
Laura Cinat 4/28/2021 7:05 PMI guess that happens with experiments sometimes. I'm impressed that you attempted what you did and look forward to hearing about your future trees. Nice job!

Heidi Zhang 4/25/2021 5:04 PMwe got some sustainable/eco-friendly products to use instead of the non-ecofriendly ones -
Heidi Zhang 4/24/2021 12:54 PManother plant update: I've just noticed that my mango is looking kinda dead. I don't know if it will continue to grow or not but the seed shrunk a lot and it looks kinda shriveled. I also noticed that after it grew the first root nothing has happened in a while and it looks basically the same besides getting smaller. I didn't plant it in dirt and just suspended it above some water because that's what I saw other people doing but maybe that's why??? Anyone have any plant advice? -
Heidi Zhang 4/23/2021 2:16 PManother update: I decided to calculate my carbon footprint again and now it's at 4.4 Earths. Last time was like 6.3 Earths I think, which means I'm doing better!-
Laura Cinat 4/28/2021 7:06 PMThat's a HUGE improvement. I was also surprised at my footprint. We have so much work to do!

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate Resilience Learn More about SilvopastureHad you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Heidi Zhang 4/23/2021 1:55 PMI have not heard of silvopasture before now. After learning about it, I think the biggest advantage is the land use as well as it's sustainability. The way the land is used is a much better use than the typically grassland farms. By mixing in trees, animals, and other plants/crops you can harvest multiple things with a lot less space which is a lot better for the enviornment. -
Heidi Zhang 4/23/2021 1:28 PMdoes anyone have any suggestions for plants that I should plant in place of my avocado?-
Laura Cinat 4/28/2021 7:08 PMDo you want it to be a tree? If not what about microgreens? Grow nutritious greens year-round. (hamama.com)
