REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Joanna Wozniak 4/19/2021 12:57 PMI'm lucky to live right next to the lakefront trail which was recently renovated to separate bikers and walkers - much more enjoyable to walk when you're not getting yelled at by bikers :) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Education Host a Film ScreeningThank you for raising awareness of women's and gender equality issues. What is the next step to actually address this disparity?
Joanna Wozniak 4/19/2021 11:29 AMWe need to push for more R&D in female bodies as they relate to athletics and fitness. It was enlightening to learn how little research has been done, although not surprising, in this field. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Watch a Video about Methane DigestersWhat does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?
Joanna Wozniak 4/19/2021 10:56 AMA sustainable community involves eco-friendly systems in every aspect of life, from how we produce our energy to how we grow and procure local food. The video I just watched educated me on methane digesters used by certain farms that help convert waste into energy. This is a great example of an innovative way to be a little more sustainable in everything we do. -
