Globally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?

Men feel the pressure of providing for needs within their own house, while women have a better grasp on the value of community.  When men allow their idea of "my house" shrink to themselves, we see masculinity failing.  When that idea of "my house" includes their family, we see men using the role of patriarch to support a healthy family.  Women can fall into the trap of saving the world at the cost of their own health, which ends up being just as harmful in the long-run.  These ideas of taking care of "my house" and also caring for the community are very powerful when joined together.
