I will find out how to make my home more energy efficient through better insulation and weatherization.
Industry
Practice the 5 R's
Recycling
I will Practice the "5 Rs" — refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle — to reduce my waste more than I can with just recycling alone.
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
Mulch the Base of Trees and Plants
Farm Irrigation Efficiency
I will prevent water runoff and increase absorbency by mulching the base of trees and plants in my yard.

Action Track: Climate Resilience
Support Businesses Owned by Women, BIPOC, or Immigrants

Kylie Ruch 4/28/2021 6:32 PMI'm loving realizing how many animal-less meals I've been having lately and how mindful I have been about 0-waste and trying to not use single-use plastics! It feels motivating! -
Kylie Ruch 4/07/2021 8:22 PMI find motivation knowing I already - naturally - do many "actions" I've signed up for. -
Kylie Ruch 4/07/2021 8:00 PMSprout, you're such a great motivator! I'm loving all of these actions! I too have been doing a great deal of vegan dishes. I will admit my current diet has me devouring a great deal of fruits and veggies which has made that challenge easier! I'm also just so excited to witness all of our actions!
