Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will research and recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community, making sure to not contaminate recyclables with non-recyclables.

Awesome experience, checked in on the last day! Here's to many more days, months and years of living in a eco-friendly manner :)

Well, it might be Earth month but it is important to follow simple practices for sustainable eco-friendly living day on day, every month. I start my day of tending to my plants which are an assortment of ornamental, medicinal and hardy ones. Eating mindfully across all three meals is very important not only to keep myself fit but too also reduce the carbon footprint I'm contributing towards. Segregating organic, inorganic and e-waste is something I do on a daily basis as well so that the non-biodegradable and e-waste can be recycled; usually I let the organic waste stay in my "Orbin" for composting purposes. The manure that is produced, I use for my plants and though its been a hot summer, they are all lush and green :)
Overall, though I practice these daily; this month I ensured to spend a little more time tending to each of these activities. Small steps like these by each of us can indeed make a huge difference in the long run!
