REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Practice the 5 R'sWhat are some more "R's" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Nicolo Martinez 4/19/2021 8:02 AMWalks are very enjoyable.
They are a great time to think about things and also to observe the world we live in. I think it is important to have well kept clean trails to help walking be more pleasant. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Communicate With My Elected OfficialsWhat inspires you to act on sustainable energy and other energy issues?
Nicolo Martinez 4/15/2021 2:13 PMI feel that we are on the brink of a major turn in how we live. If we ignore the problem this turn could be catastrophic. I want to do my part in tipping this scale of change out of the red. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric VehicleReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Nicolo Martinez 4/14/2021 9:38 PMInternal combustion cars are going to obsolete within the next 2 decades. EVs have much less value drop, they also have incredible accelerations, and there rang will soon eclipse gas powered cars. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Accelerating Solutions Advocate for Solar InstallationHow does advocating for rooftop solar connect to your values? How might you be able to get others involved in advocating for the shift to clean energy?
Nicolo Martinez 4/14/2021 4:33 PMI think if people realize that there is no big upfront costs to switching to solar and you can pay it off over time with the money that you once used to pay for your energy bill it seems much more feasible and doable. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Nicolo Martinez 4/14/2021 4:31 PMMeat is expensive and harder to come by? It is often produced in very unsustainable ways focused on making short term money that could create many long term issues.
