REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Education Learn about the Need for Family PlanningWhat did you learn about the need for family planning? How do the needs of different people in different places compare to each other?
Hana Levy 4/19/2021 10:55 AMWomen need more recognition. They do as much as men, and maybe even more. But men get payed a lot more, and get recognized a lot more. Family planning needs to happen for the world to work! Like, seriously. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCoastal, Ocean, and Engineered Sinks Learn about BiocharCan biochar provide additional benefits besides sequestering carbon?
Hana Levy 4/19/2021 10:33 AMIt is just a good way of keeping chemicals like carbon underground, but it also doesn't use oxygen to burn, so it is a MUCH more sustainable way to sequester carbon. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Buy BambooAre bamboo alternatives readily available in your community? If not, what are other sustainable alternatives?
Hana Levy 4/19/2021 10:20 AMWell, we buy bamboo plates and utensils instead of plastic. It is for the most part available and I suggest buying it because it is just as good. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Hana Levy 4/15/2021 7:11 AMTaking walks helps you, and by maybe picking up trash along the way, or just taking note of the infrastructure, then you can help your community. -
