  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Health and Education Fund Family Planning

After the Deloitte event on 4/28, we discussed topics in relation to this question which was wonderful. Great to know Deloitte is stepping up in this space.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

A round-trip flight from New York City to Los Angeles emits just over 1.5 tons of CO2—per person. That’s a lot of carbon! What can you do to reduce the number of flights you take per year?

I always choose the amtrack over driving home to MD. I also chose the subway in NYC to both save money and lower my carbon footprint. I believe this easy choice really goes a long way!

I actually am able to do this action monthly through a sponsorship program. I have written and sponsored a girl in haiti for almost 18 years. We have basically grown up together! The monthly donation covers the cost of school/books/uniforms.
