Industry
Practice the 5 R's
Recycling
I will Practice the "5 Rs" — refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle — to reduce my waste more than I can with just recycling alone.

Stay on the Ground
Telepresence, High-Speed Rail
Instead of traveling by plane, I will find an alternative way to accomplish the goals of an upcoming trip (i.e. telepresence, vacation locally).

Andrew Horn 4/30/2021 6:48 AMThere are so many great choices you can make for your home to make it more energy efficient. It has been great to research the many options. (i.e. geothermal heat, solar, whole house fans vs AC., tankless water heaters, high efficiency appliances.... the list goes on forever.) -

Andrew Horn 4/21/2021 1:37 PMFor the past year I have been leveling out low spots in my yard with spent coffee grounds. It should be noted that my yard is the size of a postage stamp, so a little bit of grounds goes a long ways. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
