Carla Fulmore 4/30/2021 7:13 PMI'd never heard of biomass technology before this challenge. Biomass contains stored chemical energy from the sun. Plants produce biomass through photosynthesis. Biomass can be burned directly for heat or converted to renewable liquid and gaseous fuels through various processes. -

Land is the common ground of shelter, sustenance, feed for animals, fiber, timber, and some sources of energy, as well as the direct source of livelihood for billions of people. -

Carla Fulmore 4/29/2021 8:26 PMThe things I think I will carry with me going forward beyond this challenge are reducing waste through no waste meals, eating from smaller plates, one meal a day with no meat, and enjoying a meal with no distractions. These are new habits that can easily be maintained and will help me live a better life while helping preserve the planet.
