REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
pamela Friedman 4/05/2021 1:39 PMI learned how to avoid waste by evaluating whether food is truly expired - if it's not showing signs of spoilage, regardless of sell-by/use-by dates, it's probably fine. I will also donate cans /non perishable food past its expiration date, rather than discarding. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Recycle Everything I CanHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
pamela Friedman 4/05/2021 1:20 PMToday I donated unwanted supplies to a nursing home. They were happy to receive, and I’m happy that these items will be useful to others instead of ending up in a landfill.
