REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Stay on the GroundWhat was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?
Keira Beaudoin 4/30/2021 6:39 PM(this post is for a while ago) over spring break my family drove instead of flying, and doing stuff like that isn't uncommon during covid, but I think that after it ends people will need to start thinking about it more. -
Keira Beaudoin 4/30/2021 6:36 PMNow that the challenge is (almost) over, I am going to try to keep doing my daily actions as often as I can, and maybe doing some of the actions I didn't do this month but wanted to do. -
Keira Beaudoin 4/27/2021 5:23 AMOver the three day weekend I went to my grandma's house in rural Wisconsin, where we went on an at least two mile hike every day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go by BikeHow does using human-powered transportation make you feel compared to using other methods of transportation?
Keira Beaudoin 4/23/2021 5:51 AMIt makes me feel good because I'm doing something for the environment, and also because I like to bike and am getting exercise at the same time. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Keira Beaudoin 4/23/2021 5:44 AMI have noticed that the trees are growing flowers and leaves now and a lot of people have flowers blooming in their yards. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Practice the 5 R'sWhat are some more "R's" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
Keira Beaudoin 4/23/2021 5:41 AMWhen I was younger I learned that there were three Rs, reuse, reduce, and recycle, but now that I learned about the other two I think about it more often because it applies to more things.-
Laura Cinat 4/28/2021 7:12 PMWhat are the new two Rs you learned about?

-
Keira Beaudoin 4/20/2021 5:46 AMSince I can go back and add things I did previous days, I have been checking in twice a week instead of every day and remembering which things I did what day.-
Laura Cinat 4/21/2021 7:49 PMWay to be efficient! Good tip: if you forget to log in one day you can still go back and take credit for any daily actions!

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Keira Beaudoin 4/15/2021 8:33 AMFor me, meat is most of the protein in my meals, so this action has been a challenge for me. -
Keira Beaudoin 4/05/2021 11:21 AMI am trying to either walk or bike every day this month. I walk my dog a lot anyway, so so far I have done it! -
Keira Beaudoin 3/25/2021 9:21 AMI am going to try to not have meat every meal and have healthy vegetables and fruits
