Recycle Everything I Can
Recycling
Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will research and recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community, making sure to not contaminate recyclables with non-recyclables.
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
Meat Free Days
I will have at least 1 meat free day a week.

Calculate My Carbon Footprint

Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Recycle Everything I CanHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Thomas Baxter 3/31/2021 2:20 PMThis was honestly doing the bare minimum, recently moved and didn't even have a recycling and so I'd put recyclables in the bin just to aid mess. But Ordered another bin so that I can be green + clean. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Calculate My Carbon FootprintWhat stood out to you most about your carbon footprint? What surprised you or sparked curiosity? Where can you take most immediate action?
Thomas Baxter 3/31/2021 2:19 PMThis was honestly not quite as bad as I thought. However I do live in a badly insulated apartment and I fear that my heating usage especially will skyrocket post summer! Doing this also reinforced my fears of just how bad a meat diet is, some good motivation for meat free days!
