I have been trying to reduce single use plastics through out our home. Utilizing shampoo and conditioner bars, dishwasher tablets, deodorant refills in paper containers, reusable paper towels / napkins and lunch bags. It's amazing how little steps add up.

Working my way to a meatless diet. My family is learning as well. We often have a veggie only dinner, and the kids have really enjoyed all the new flavors. The impact on our selves and the planet are too high - we need to change this locally and globally.

I found some reusable silicone pouches that help me eliminate the plastic bags I use to use.  They seem easy to clean and haven't accumulated any smells... but I haven't put an onion in them yet.  That will be the true test, right? I also got the reusable lids which seem to fit every bowl easily.  You can find them here: ...

I have been a vegetarian all my life and find it to be a great lifestyle choice.

The bike path and walking path along the lake could be separated better. My mood is refreshed after the walk.

When you eat in moderation with smaller portions you are less likely to overeat which will improve your health.
