April 30 at 3:22 PMCommunity gardens allow you to grow food locally and empower your community to grow its own food, rather than spending money and often creating waste. Large scale agriculture also produces a lot of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which can be avoided with small-scale, sustainable farming.
