April 29 at 10:21 AMThe last ecochallenge was so much fun and I enjoyed challenging myself to complete the daily actions I committed to to be more eco-conscious. I'm super stoked that I was able to do the ecochallenge again with my school club, but this time in celebration of earth month :) !!

April 29 at 10:17 AMPeople in richer countries eat more meat because meat is a more expensive food choice. Eating more meat increases global warming and pollution due to the large factories produce packaged meat we see in grocery stores, and contribute to the rapid use of fossil fuels.

April 16 at 7:01 AMEating smaller portions can decrease obese and overweight percentages, especially in the United States where obesity is a major problem. It can also help reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills since not everyone composts their excess food and instead they throw it in the trash.

April 13 at 5:35 PMI think the first time I visited Dillon's Beach was super altering to my life. It quickly became my favorite place ever, theres just sand and grass everywhere and it felt like an escape. It made me take a break from normal life and I began to focus on myself and how my body was feeling.

April 13 at 1:55 PMAnother "R" you could add is Rethink!! Rethinking your purchases and the food you put into your body can lead to your own health improving and creating/supporting sustainable habits and brands in your life!

April 13 at 1:53 PMWhen practicing mindfulness I can concentrate on my meal and the people I'm spending time with. Without any distractions, I can make sure I pick the healthiest food options for myself without worrying about time or other distractions that might make me pick a less healthy but more convenient in that moment option.
