    A round-trip flight from New York City to Los Angeles emits just over 1.5 tons of CO2—per person. That’s a lot of carbon! What can you do to reduce the number of flights you take per year?

    Research other types or modes of transportation, like carpooling or by train, as well as planning to consolidate trips as much as possible.

    Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Meat can be a luxury item in some places. Meat can also have a high environmental impact based on the impact it takes to produce (e.g. methane emissions)

    I've "heard" of biomass technology before, but never truly understood it or gave it much thought. I was pleasantly surprised to learn how many communities are assessing their bio waste and ideating ways to use it for fuels with net-zero waste.
