April 30 at 3:50 AMAlso looking into going solar!!

April 30 at 3:48 AMJust ordered clover seed to fill in my front lawn in the hope of changing from a high maintenance grass lawn that requires lots of water, mowing, and chemicals to a green "lawn" that looks good, does not need mowing, and improves the soil! Why didn't I do this years ago?!

April 27 at 11:07 PMI already have 8 hazelnuts, 3 pine nuts, 2 pear and 2 heart nut trees in my yard. I'd like to plant 2 apples, 2 pawpaw and maybe 2 persimmon.

April 24 at 9:47 PMI plan to get rid of the vinca on the slope of my yard going down to the driveway and plant some native plants there instead, including some low bushes.

April 24 at 9:17 PMI finally watched KISS THE GROUND because I thought I might learn so new information, and boy, did I ever! Three years ago Rand and I finally dove into permaculture. We now have 8 hazel nut, 3 pine nut, 2 pear and 2 heart nut trees to begin to have our own edible food forest and I've been growing vegetables for years, but the variety of...
