    The waste that motivates me the most to look at my behavior and relationship with food revolves around the amount of water and effort that goes in to growing/producing meat products. Every time I eat meat I am reminded of the land, water, energy and labor that goes in for just a small portion of meat. This motivates me to have meatless days...

    How do others deal with recycling something that is mixed material? I for instance wanted to recycle a bag for bread today which contained both paper and plastic (the plastic is there so you can see the bread). Do you then separate the paper from the plastic, knowing that the plastic is probably non-recyclable?
