    I live in a small town and I am just to adjust to use my car everywhere. I decide to walk more and know more my town and help because my dog walks with me.

    Sometimes my husband and I bought a lot of food but because our schedules sometimes we waste more than what we use. I like this challenge because make me think twice of what I was going to eat. I make a list of food of what I was going to eat and cook and just buy the escencial and if we did not finish reheat it next day to not waste food.

    Planting trees gave me a sense of doing something good for not just the planet, but also allowed me to have a better understanding of why we must protect the environment. It is difficult to maintain a tree, so I cannot imagine how difficult it is for nature to do it on its own.

    Meat is more expensive than some plant based diets because producing meat cost more than producing plants. The meat has to eat the plants so it's basically like paying for the plants plus the meat. Eating a lot of meat can increase the risk of obesity, cancer and heart disease.     Other than environmental benefits, there are important human health benefits to using a smaller plate. Some benefits are, eating less, eating slower, if you want seconds, you have to get up and walk more to get your second helping, you are more mindful of what you choose to put on your plate which would hopefully lead to healthier choices.     I believe my diet is sustainable and healthy for the planet. I make sure to only buy from shops that caught their fish in a sustainable way. Additionally, I only buy canned albacore tuna from Wild Planet who use pole & line.
