    Each time I go for a hike or a walk I notice new plants that I'd never seen before.  I also really enjoy the feeling of the sun on my skin and the sound of birds chirping.  I also really like hearing the sounds of wildlife at night when I am camping.

    I would use the extra money to buy slightly more expensive organic produce, eggs and milk.  I would also use that extra money to purchase grass fed meat.

    I can cook the tops of vegetables as a separate dish.  This can be done with a vegetable like beets.  I can also thoroughly wash vegetables like potatoes and roast them in the oven leaving the skin on the vegetable.  In the cases where part of the vegetable is inedible, such as a corn cob, I choose to use compost those scraps.  This will reduce...

    By spending time outdoors, we enjoy not only the solitude but draw our own attention to the nature which we so often tune out. The first step to protecting nature is appreciating it. The first step to appreciating it. The first step to appreciating it is acknowledging it. And the first step to acknowledging it is knowing it is there.
