    Planting a tree grounds you in connecting to the earth--I feel rooted in the fact that the tree will have its entirely own ecosystem and agency.

    I had been saving all my veggie scraps in a bag i the freezer, and I made broth for soup! Once I was done, I composted the scraps in my home garden.
