Local food is fresher, more economical and also eating what grows where you live is healthy for your body.

We currently have a gas car and it used to be very efficient, but has lost that as the years have gone by and the miles have racked up.  We plan to purchase a EV in the next 5 years.

People in richer countries eat more meat because they can afford the cost of raising animals purely for meat.
