REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceHow can micro energy solutions reduce inequities? Why is this important to you?
Sunisa Sriwichian 4/04/2021 11:50 PMThe growth of microgrids is expected in developed countries strengthening the resilience of electricity grids; and on developing countries in areas that currently do not have access to electricity, using renewable energy alternatives such as in-stream hydro, micro wind, distributed solar photovoltaics, and biomass and waste stream energy technologies, paired with distributed energy storage. It is assumed that these systems replace what would otherwise be the extension of a dirty grid or the continued use of off-grid oil or diesel generators. Emissions impacts are accounted for in the individual solutions themselves, preventing double counting. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationHow can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?
Sunisa Sriwichian 4/04/2021 11:24 PMExpanding public transportation and bus rapid transit to cover more area. So people can go to the city by public transportation and control time to arrival. When we use public transport it will reduce co2 emission and have sustainability in cities. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceHow does advocating for rooftop solar connect to your values? How might you be able to get others involved in advocating for the shift to clean energy?
Sunisa Sriwichian 4/04/2021 11:07 PMSolar rooftop can help to save the world becuase it is clean energy moreover it can save money becuase the weather in Thailand is very hot almost the house have turn on air condition and make a high spend for electric. for me i have plan to install solar rooftop also -
