REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Katy Smith 4/12/2021 4:39 PMI think it's because mass-producing meat is such a cost - the land and resources required, especially. We also streamline our processes so we can just go to the store and buy a steak, while other places it might be more of a special treat to have that access. The amount of meat eaten in the US is definitely not good for the environment or for our health!
