Reduce Single-Use Disposables
Bioplastics
Cheap, single-use items and disposable packaging end up blowing around as litter more often in poor and BIPOC-majority neighborhoods. I will avoid buying and using 1 single-use plastics and instead replace them with durable options.
Industry
Practice the 5 R's
Recycling
I will Practice the "5 Rs" — refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle — to reduce my waste more than I can with just recycling alone.
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
Eco Bag
I will use eco bags when buying groceries to reduce the usage of plastic to help the environment.

REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Choose Recycled PaperGood job on choosing recycled paper! How can you take your action a step further?
Michaela Katrina Ragasa 4/04/2021 1:20 AMKeep using recycled paper and encourage those around me to do the same. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Recycle Everything I CanHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Michaela Katrina Ragasa 3/24/2021 10:58 PMWe are already reducing the use of plastics bags at home and at groceries by using eco-bags, reusing Tupperwares, and repurposing those plastic bottles into a pot for our mini garden. It feels good that we have less garbage of these types and helping out mother earth. It also improves our home with those tons of plastic bags.
