I will convert my electric geyser into Solar. It will lead to saving electricity.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Go by Bike
How does using human-powered transportation make you feel compared to using other methods of transportation?

    Saqlain Pathan's avatar
    Saqlain Pathan 4/28/2021 3:23 PM
It feels more comfortable rather any other transportation. We can go anywhere on time as we do not have to wait for the bus or any public transportation. We can stop wherever we want. This makes it more confortable.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Use Public Transit
How has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

    Saqlain Pathan's avatar
    Saqlain Pathan 4/28/2021 3:20 PM
People choose transportation mode based on what is the most convenient, in terms of price, time, proximity, and flexibility.
income typically informs transportation mode choices. Those with higher incomes will use transit less
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. How would you rather use this money?

    Saqlain Pathan's avatar
    Saqlain Pathan 4/28/2021 2:22 PM
We can use this money in the country where people die because of an empty stomach. We can provide those people with food and necessary materials which need to survive.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Smaller Portions
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

    Saqlain Pathan's avatar
    Saqlain Pathan 4/28/2021 1:35 PM
Serving smaller portions helps to prevent waste of food.  Anyone who needs extra he/she can take twice or thrice as their need.
