Solveig Christina Voss 4/14/2021 11:57 AMSome of the birds I feed during the colder months became so accustomed to me that they started to sit close to me and wait for me when filling the feeders. Some smaller birds (Red-breasted Nuthatches and Chickadees) more or less accidentally landed on my arms or head, too. It was amazing to see how without me actively taming them, they got so used to my presence and learned that it meant food. Even the smallest birds are so smart!
