REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Smaller PortionsWhile dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?
Elizabeth Filippelli 4/26/2021 8:25 AMI have become consistent with using a smaller plate and all of my leftovers are consumed - even I don't like them anymore :) -
Elizabeth Filippelli 4/11/2021 7:20 AMYesterday at the Jacksonville Beach picked up litter and left behind sand toys to donate 👍 -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Mulch the Base of Trees and PlantsName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Elizabeth Filippelli 4/11/2021 7:17 AMI live in Florida and run off of pesticides and other toxic material is a real concern to me. Two things have hopped this month bc of this event:
I have joined the Duval County Audubon Society to connect on how I can assist. We are lobbying to stop or improve the run off clean up of a proposed car wash, near the Matnzas River, and I have surveyed my property to ensure mulch is adequate and Limit excess run off!
