REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceHad you ever heard of biomass technology before you took this challenge? What did you learn that surprised you? Share your new knowledge with your friends!
Michael Espinosa 4/13/2021 8:29 AMI have heard about it, but didn't do to much research on the subject. I now know that biomass technologies decompose organic matters to release their stored energy such as biofuels and bioenergy. Biomass energy is generated from either the combustion of biomass or the anaerobic gas from biomass. I was surprised by this fact. Most biomass used today is home grown energy. Wood logs, chips, bark, and sawdust accounts for about 44 percent of biomass energy. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. What have you done in the past to support women-owned businesses? How can you better support communities by supporting women?
Michael Espinosa 4/13/2021 8:24 AMI've researched & bought exclusively from women owned businesses & shops! I've also promoted them on social media to help out with exposure & support. I've also made small donations to various go fund me accounts & learned more about female entrepreneurs.
