REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricityChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! What's next for you?
Margaret Patterson 4/22/2021 9:29 AMWe have always used LED lights, we feel that they last longer therefore limiting the number of bulbs we use and lessening our impact on the environment. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricityWhat is the most exciting solution you explored? Why is it exciting to you?
Margaret Patterson 4/22/2021 9:28 AMWe recently had to replace our heater/AC unit and in the processes of researching new units i wanted something that was not only eco friendly but also something that reduces noise, emits less pollution into the air and saves on electricity. We try not to run our system unless absolutely necessary so we installed more fans and use them before using our AC. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Climate ResilienceGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. What have you done in the past to support women-owned businesses? How can you better support communities by supporting women?
Margaret Patterson 4/22/2021 9:25 AMI make it a point when searching for products or places to shop identify, if possible, those business run by women and support them as much as possible. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Accelerating SolutionsWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Margaret Patterson 4/22/2021 9:24 AMAuto emissions are most concerning especially in the valley. I come across so many vehicles whose exhaust do not meet standards and question why they are allowed to drive vehicles that do not meet ecological standards
