Lucrezia Chiappetta 4/05/2021 10:55 AMHey Betty. It sounds like we should have a zoom at the end of the challenge to see if anyone wants to share how they reduce their carbon footprint.

Betty de Groot 4/25/2021 7:22 PMWhat I did on the 24th was present at the EECOM with a teaching colleague where we spoke to 30 participants/teachers about the benefits of taking their students on walks in order to discover the natural world around them, using Gillian Judson’s Walking Curriculum. -
Betty de Groot 4/25/2021 7:18 PMWhat I & my fellow team-mate Lu did today was to sign up for a monetary prize to get more people food aware in order to lessen their carbon footprint. Not sure if there’s a place for points on this action.-

Betty de Groot 4/03/2021 6:57 AMSo many challenges, so little time! I wish this was an all year event (well, technically it is... because ultimately we are changing habits, with April being our catalyst)! ; ) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricityWhat stood out to you most about your carbon footprint? What surprised you or sparked curiosity? Where can you take most immediate action?
Betty de Groot 4/03/2021 5:08 AMI did not like the tool as it left me with no conclusion. The list of possible pledges were good to reflect on and I selected a few. Again, there was no point that said that having achieved some of these pledges, I would be "x" number of steps ahead. In my current state apparently me (or my household?) emits 25 tons of CO2 each year. That sounds huge. And apparently, even at that I/we are 67% better than average. Anyway, that's where that ended.
