Hannah Cole 4/21/2021 4:36 AMKnowing the difference will allow me to make better decisions regarding food waste. Previously I would often throw out food that was past its date, but now knowing what each of them mean I can lessen my food waste by using them after the date in most cases. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhile dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?
Hannah Cole 4/19/2021 8:09 AMI’ve seen benefits in that I’ve been able to listen to my body better. I can use these smaller portions to slow down my eating and make sure that I really want/need another portion before I eat one -

Hannah Cole 4/19/2021 8:07 AMThe wasting of water and land motivates me most. It takes so much water and land to grow these crops in the system they’re produced in. These things are not going to be around forever if we continue to be wasteful -

Hannah Cole 3/24/2021 4:58 PMI think my diet choices definitely fall within these guidelines most of the time! I was interested to find out some of the food I should avoid, and will make sure to check back and look at this website before buying my seafood from now on!
