REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksAs you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?
stella c 4/20/2021 10:20 AMIt makes me want to be more cautious of the products I use and the activities that I participate in. The fact that the Earth is being harmed so much by things that people may not even realize that they are doing. That there are programs like drawdown to help inform people of what is going on in the world, and that people are starting to put in the work to help save the planet. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksHow is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
stella c 4/19/2021 9:18 AMMy diet is directly impacting deforestation in a way that I hadn’t even realized. The fact that so much deforestation occurs hourly just because of palm oil is heartbreaking. A way that I can work to help make a positive impact, even if it's small, is to eat locally sourced everything. -
